Portland Educator And Antifa Member Found Guilty After Physical Confrontation

Natalia Leah Goudvis attacked Casey Whalen from behind in Oregon City on September 9, 2024

On September 9, 2024, I attended the sentencing of Antifa member Alissa Azar who was found guilty by a jury of rioting, at the Clackamas County Courthouse in Oregon City, Oregon. Azar faced three counts stemming from an incident at Clackamat Park in Clackamas County, Oregon on June 11, 2021, after disrupting a permitted flag wave and voter registration held by Daniel Tooze, then running for Oregon House of Representatives.

Alissa Azar and other members of Antifa dressed in black bloc, faced off against a group of Proud Boys who were present to defend the event. This resulted in a violent confrontation, Azar was charged with Riot in the second degree, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and use of chemical weapon (the last charge was a hung decision by the jury and will be retried in February 2025). The judge ruled 14 days in jail, and 36 months probation with a GPS tracker.

Full details of the Alissa Azar story may be read here from our great friends at The Post Millennial - https://thepostmillennial.com/portland-antifa-ringleader-alissa-azar-sentenced-to-jail-over-felony-conviction

On December 17, 2024, the woman who attacked me, Natalia Leah Gouvis, a Portland State University student and Antifa member pleaded guilty to the higher charge of disorderly conduct in the second degree and is currently on one-year probation and anger management classes.
