Devin Burghart FULL Testimony In The Ammon Bundy Defamation Lawsuit

Burghart, President of the IREHR presented numerous questionable statements unchallenged, regarding Peoples Rights and it's members
1

President Devin Burghart of the Institute for Research Education on Human Rights (IREHR) presented testimony in the defamation lawsuit for the plaintiff in St. Luke’s Hospital v. Ammon Bundy, Diego Rodriguez, Peoples Rights, and other defendants on July 11 and 13, 2023. The lawsuit stemmed from the kidnapping by Idaho Child Protective Services (initiated by St. Luke’s Hospital) of Rodriguez’s grandson, Cyrus Anderson, aka ‘Baby Cyrus,’ on May 10, 2023, in Meridian, Idaho by law enforcement.

Peoples Rights immediately went into action calling members to protest at St. Luke’s Hospital downtown Boise, Idaho, and after six days of non-stop protests, Cyrus was given back to his parents, Marissa and Levi Anderson. A defamation lawsuit would shortly follow, resulting in a judgement awarded to St. Luke’s and it’s plaintiffs in the amount of $52 million dollars.

HISTORY OF THE IREHR

Institute for Research Education on Human Rights and it’s founder Leonard ‘Lenny’ Zeskind created this organization in 1983, based in Kansas City, Missouri.

According to the IREHR website:

The political landscape in the United States has changed considerably since IREHR's founding in 1983. Our long-held dreams for social and economic justice have become imbued with new hope in the future. More, the drive towards a truly multi-racial, multicultural democracy and individual human rights have gained new and powerful adherents.

Recently deceased American researcher of political fringe movements, Laird Wilcox exposed the background of the IREHR and it’s founder in his book entitled The Watchdogs: A Close Look At Anti-Racist “Watchdog” Groups. Zeskind has held close ties with multiple Communist, Marxist-Leninist organizations since the 1970’s with affiliations such as the Anti-Nazi League (ANL), Socialist Workers Party (SWP), Workers Revolution Party(WRP), Center for Democratic Renewal (CDR), Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), as a few examples. And writing for publications The Hammer, UK magazine Searchlight, SPLC, ADL, a cadre of Communist and Marxist influence.

The IREHR’s current President is Devin Burghart, who got his start with the faux human rights movement in the 1990’s with the Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment (NWCAMH) along with Zeskind (later rebranded to the Northwest Coalition for Human Dignity (NWCHD) before going defunct in the early 2000’s.

Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment

The Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment was a pivotal organization for many human rights non-profits. Incorporated in 1987 and started with help of former Catholic priest Bill Wassmuth, who was the face of the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations around that same time. This regional coalition consisted of the Pacific Northwest states, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado and Utah. Some of it’s members, Anti-Defamation League/B’Nai B’rith, American Jewish Committee, Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations, Montana Human Rights Network, Washington Human Rights Commission, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Idaho Human Rights Commission, and others.

Federal grant funding for this regional organization was provided during the President Bill Clinton administration, under the One America program.

A close colleague to Burghart is Eric Ward, former director of the Western States Center based in Portland, Oregon, and presently a Senior Fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Both with direct involvement of the NWCAMH/NWCHD.

Burghart and Ward discussing hate groups in 1999

Ward and Burghart appeared together at The Press Club in 1999 to discuss their life long grift, of promoting hate. Full event here»»» https://www.c-span.org/program/public-affairs-event/hate-groups/95821

The Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment (or Northwest Coalition For Human Dignity) showcases the connections between major human rights networks active in the United States in the late 1990s. The below examples show Vice President of the Montana Human Rights Network Christine Kaufmann, along with Zeskind, Ward, Burghart and other anti-American actors operating jointly in Idaho.

Over the past five years the IREHR has primarily focused on creating articles of the Peoples Rights network and the Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), focusing on ritual defamation of groups and it’s members.

Much of the propaganda produced by all the above named socialist entities are easily dispelled, as a fairy tale.
