Educator Natalia Leah Goudvis assualted and harassed Casey Whalen in Oregon City, Oregon during sentencing for fellow comrade Alissa Azar
The sentencing for Antifa member Alissa Azar was held on September 9, 2024, at the Clackamas County Courthouse in Oregon City, Oregon. Azar was found guilty by a jury on August 14, 2024, on two charges; riot and disorderly conduct in the second degree. A third charge of deploying a chemical weapon was undecided by a hung jury and will be heard by a six-panel jury in February 2025.
The charges stem from an incident at Clackamette Park on June 18, 2021, Antifa accompanied by Alissa Azar a professed journalist, attempted to ‘fill the space’ of a permitted event of voter registration and a flag wave event hosted by Daniel Tooze, a former Republican candidate for the state House of Representatives.
Clackamas County Prosecutor Josh Cutino urged the judge to impose the full 30-day jail penalty against Azar. Still, she was only sentenced to 14 days of jail time and 36 months of supervised probation and GPS monitoring.

Meanwhile outside the courtroom…
A reporter for The Post Millenial Katie Daviscourt was permitted to be the court pool reporter for the trial, along with Chelly Bouferrache.
I decided to document Antifa members going in and out of the courtroom that day. It didn’t take very long to notice the heavy police presence by Oregon City Police, at least half a dozen men took up various positions outside the courthouse. Multiple police units, at least five that I counted patrolled the streets around the locale.
Initially, I noticed a car parked across the street from the Clackamas County Courthouse, where four supporters of Azar showed up. At one point were given quarters for the parking meter by a man in the party.
After the sentencing, I documented the same people leaving in an escort with Lauren Regan of the radical left, Civil Liberties Defense Center (CLDC), a lawyer for Alissa Azar. I decided to follow them down the street and try to document. It became obvious they were frustrated trying to return to the car unnoticed. Two individuals a man and a woman broke off from the group in an attempt to block my passage down the sidewalk, the woman began to berate and harass me.
I eventually passed them and caught up to the main procession after briefly filming them, I headed back to the courthouse to ensure I would not have any confrontations. The woman who had verbally tried to intimidate me pulled out her phone and began recording at the same time I took off my hat and blocked my face while recording her. She became agitated and tried getting closer to which I responded ‘f*** you bitch,’ after having had enough, noticing a police vehicle pass by.
I attempted to walk away and after a few steps was hit hard in my lower back, my head shot backward, hips forward, barely able to prevent myself from falling over. After quickly recovering turned around to find the woman getting up from the corner sidewalk, grabbing the purse next to her I stepped on it and instinctually grabbed her person with my left hand, preventing her from running away.
Seconds later, police and multiple vehicular units swarmed the scene by passing me and immediately arrested Antifa member, Portland State University student, and local teacher Natalia Leah Goudvis.

The Captain of the Oregon City Police took my report and went above and beyond asking if I needed additional assistance to safely leave the location. A heartfelt thank you to the men and women of the Oregon City Police and the Clackamas County Sheriff's Department for ensuring law and order are upheld.
