Cultural Diversity Training For New Law Enforcement Officers At North Idaho College

Peace Officers Standards & Training pushing the DEI model

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are increasingly being forced on ALL businesses across the spectrum; local law enforcement is NO EXCEPTION.

A recent public records request exposed a calendar from the Basic Patrol Academy program hosted at North Idaho College. The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office instructed cultural diversity awareness training for law enforcement recruits.

The cultural diversity curriculum mandated by the Peace Officers Standards & Training (POST) educates officers on ways to approach various people and cultures based on race or religion; however, the resource does not explicitly mention the LGBTQ aspect of Cultural Marxism.

The current cultural diversity outline published in September 2018 details various situations and encounters officers will be involved in. Asking recruits to put themselves into the shoes of members of the public. One portion of the training lists generalized cultural characteristics.

The next page states that the cultural impact in law enforcement's possible red flags warns against stereotyping groups or individuals, yet hypocritically does so.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is proactively participating in training officers of this DEI cultural diversity program.
